Vanlife Fitness – No Gym Required

Traveling full time means that we spend a lot of time outside doing the things we love.  But sometimes we need to just crank out a high intensity workout.  In order to get our heart rate up and maintain our cardio fitness level, we have created a 4-week, no gym required training program.

These exercises can be done in a small space and do not require any equipment.  This workout is a combination of my 100 Burpee workout and a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) routine.  This workout takes approximately one hour and is one of the hardest workouts I do to maintain my vanlife fitness.

You can (and should) modify this workout for your ability level and for the amount of time that you have.  Do just the Burpee portion of the workout or just the HIIT portion of the workout.  In addition, eliminate rounds from the HIIT workout for more modification.

For interval training, you need an interval timer.  Purchase any number of interval timers online, but the Gym Boss timers are my favorite.  Gym Boss also has a free app that you can use on your phone, which is what we do so that we don’t have to keep track of another little gadget.

In addition to this 100 Burpee + HIIT workout for vanlife fitness, I also do a Kickboxing HIIT routine and a Strength Training Routine.

We are not trained fitness professionals.  All workouts have been created for our use and are based on our fitness an ability levels.  Please do these workouts at your own risk.

If you’re shopping on Amazon, please click through the links in our blog posts!  It costs you nothing extra and gives us a little kickback that helps us keep these tires rolling down the road to our next adventure!

We hope you enjoy this workout!  As with any physical exertion, be sure to go at your own pace.  You may want to consult with your physician before attempting any workout.
